The teaser trailer for The Bare Gun reboot starring Liam Neeson sees his character, Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., letting all of it hang around whereas making an attempt to cease a financial institution theft. Watch it under.
Elsewhere within the trailer, we see Neeson and Capt. Ed Hocken (Paul Walter Hauser) paying tribute to their respective fathers, Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) and Cpt. Ed Hocken (George Kennedy). There’s additionally a nod to the real-life crimes of O.J. Simpson, along with his character’s son gazing at a photograph and declining to recollect him fondly.

Out in theaters on August 1st, the movie was directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, who co-wrote the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand (Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Loopy Ex-Girlfriend). Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins produced by their firm, Fuzzy Door.
