American Cinema Editors handed out their prizes on the seventy fifth annual ACE Eddie Awards in Los Angeles on Friday, marking the tip of the awards season cycle.
The ceremony at UCLA was postponed from its unique January 18 date because of the LA wildfires. The Oscars not too long ago befell on March 2.
Within the ACE function classes, the group awarded Juliette Welfling finest edited drama for Emilia Pérez, and Myron Kerstein finest comedy for Depraved.
The animation award went to Mary Blee for The Wild Robotic, and the documentary prize was awarded to Monique Zavistovski for Will & Harper. Street Home edited by Doc Crotzer prevailed within the non-theatrical contest.
Within the tv classes, Maria Gonzales and Aika Miyake have been recognised for Shogun Episode 10 in drama collection, and Peter H. Oliver and Benjamin Gerstein gained restricted collection for Child Reindeer Episode 4.
Depraved director Jon M. Chu obtained the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Yr Award, and movie editors Maysie Hoy and Paul Hirsch obtained profession achievement awards.
