‘Hit Man’, ‘My Old Ass’ among WGA screenplay nominees

Hit Man and My Previous Ass be part of awards heavyweights Anora, A Actual Ache and Dune: Half Two within the Writers Guild of America (WGA) nominations introduced on Wednesday after being delayed because of the ongoing LA wildfires.

Challengers and Civil Conflict are included within the authentic screenplay class, whereas Depraved, Nickel Boys and A Full Unknown are in competition for tailored screenplay.

Vying for documentary honours are Jim Henson: Thought Man, Kiss The Future, Martha, and Conflict Recreation.

The WGA East and West chapters are internet hosting simultaneous ceremonies for the 77th Annual Writers Guild Awards on February 15 at Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and Edison Ballroom in New York Metropolis.

Final 12 months’s large winners American Fiction and The Holdovers have been introduced on the strike-delayed ceremony in April, a month after American Fiction had received the Oscar.
