The stage on the iconic Hollywood Bowl has been named in honor of composer John Williams. Introduced by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the dedication marks the primary time within the Bowl’s 103-year historical past that the stage has ever been named after an artist.
The brand new stage signage bearing Williams’ title was unveiled at a personal ceremony over the weekend, attended by longtime LA Philharmonic supporters together with Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw’s Hearthland Basis, Seth MacFarlane, and the Katie McGrath and J.J. Abrams Household Basis.
