Jenny Beavan set for US Costume Designers Guild career honour

The US Costume Designers Guild (CDG) has named Jenny Beavan because the recipient of its twenty seventh CDGA Profession Achievement Award. 

Salvador Perez will obtain the Guild’s Distinguished Service Award. 

A Guild assertion stated Beavan’s “outstanding profession, unwavering dedication, and passionate advocacy has elevated the artwork of costume design.” 

British designer Beavan, who acquired an OBE in 2017, first got here to prominence within the trade for her work within the eighties and nineties on Service provider Ivory Productions initiatives akin to A Room With A View and Howard’s Finish.
