The San Sebastian Movie Competition is to honour Jennifer Lawrence with a Donostia Award at its 73rd version subsequent month.
The Academy-Award successful US actress will obtain the honorary accolade at a gala on September 26, adopted by a screening of her newest movie, Lynne Ramsay’s Die My Love.
Lawrence produced the movie which had its world premiere at Cannes this 12 months.
Lawrence received the perfect actress Oscar in 2012 for Silver Linings Playbook, and her credit embody American Hustle, Don’t Look Up, Pleasure, and The Starvation Video games trilogy.
In 2018, Lawrence co-founded manufacturing firm Wonderful Cadaver with producing accomplice Justine Ciarrocchi. In addition to Die My Love, its movies to this point embody Causeway, No Exhausting Emotions, and the documentaries Zurawski v. Texas and Bread & Roses.
The San Sebastian Movie Competition runs from September 19-27.
