EXCLUSIVE: The British Unbiased Movie Awards has chosen 30 filmmakers for the newest run of its Springboard coaching programme, together with Fairly Purple Costume director Dionne Edwards and Sky Peals director Moin Hussain.
The newest iteration of the Springboard programme will contain 12 administrators, 10 writers and eight producers. Working till February 2026, it’ll supply technical {and professional} coaching, mentoring, networking and entry to assets to permit the filmmakers to develop their second characteristic movie.

The programme is supported by Prime Video and the ScreenSkills Movie Abilities Fund, with further help from Movie Funds Worldwide and Molinare.
Extra filmmakers on the scheme embody Copa ’71 co-director Rachel Ramsay; Deliver Them Down director Christopher Andrews; Lady director Adura Onashile; and Jethro Massey, writer-director of Venice 2024 title Paul & Paulette Take A Bathtub.
4 of the filmmakers have beforehand been named Display UK-Eire Stars of Tomorrow: Onashile, Andrews, Edwards, and Hussain.
The Springboard programme will run alongside the Springboard: Style programme, supported by Anton, which chosen its 14 members earlier this yr.
The Springboard scheme goals to help the following wave of British filmmakers in direction of long-term careers with international affect.
