Mortal Kombat II‘s launch date has formally been pushed again, with Warner Bros. asserting that the movie has been moved out of 2025 fully.

When is the brand new Mortal Kombat II launch date?

In response to Warner Bros. Footage, the movie’s new launch date has been set for Could 15, 2026. The brand new date is a major change, with the movie now being delayed over seven months and out of 2025 fully and thru many of the first quarter of 2026.

Mortal Kombat II is directed by Simon McQuoid, from a screenplay written by Jeremy Slater. The movie is a sequel to 2021’s Mortal Kombat, and stars Karl City as Johnny Cage, deline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, with Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion.
